Jayanta Nandarani Memorial Cancer Trust has been conceptualized and registered in the year 2019 in the memory of Late Shrimati Nandarani Purkayastha and Late Shri Jayanta Bhattacharjee , both of whom succumbed to cancer, a few decades ago, at the premature age of early forties and late twenties respectively, .

We are a team of people from diverse fields of interest with varied spectrum of skill strengths who have the commonality of being sensitive towards social deficiencies and are committed to the cause of welfare of under privileged, particularly the children. Having experienced premature deaths of our near ones due to cancer our primary focus of work is helping and supporting under privileged children infected with cancer so that they can be provided adequate treatment and care. Additionally we also invest our efforts towards supporting the underprivileged having health related issues and also spread awareness and provide support on issues related to nutrition, education , hygiene and environment.

• Establish, undertake, superintendent, administer and contribute to any charitable fund which is created directly or indirectly to promote any of the purposes of the Trust.
• Spread awareness amongst the under privileged about health issues , with particular focus on cancer in children, the cause, remedies and prevention and encourage early and best possible treatment, medical and non-medical care
• Work towards Holistic Care for the under-privileged and their family members, with special focus on children.
• Assistance towards social help of poor people, with focus on children, with respect to other issues like nutrition, education and hygiene through Self Help Groups (SHG).
• Assistance through garnering the necessary economic and financial support.
• Assistance towards educational support to the under-privileged.
• Spread awareness on cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Spread awareness and work on multiple environmental issues.
